Founded by the partners of Far Niente, who began experimenting with Pinot Noir in the 1980s, EnRoute is the culmination of a 30-year passion for Pinot. Our focused study of this varietal has led us down many an interesting path at home and abroad. Along the way we’ve established fruitful relationships with growers, winemakers and lovers of Pinot Noir. Our journey convinced us that the best opportunity to consistently and successfully create the focused, textured, yet graceful Pinot Noir wines we treasure is in the Russian River Valley. We have made a serious and deep commitment to the region, establishing vineyards and a winery devoted to capturing the magical essence of Pinot Noir.
